I know, I know... I have been a HORRIBLE blogger! But I have two good reasons.
1. I didn't know anyone was really reading it besides Lauren and my Mom. And they are both on Facebook so I figured they were already in the loop.
2. I am super crazy busy! That is the main reason. Between school and homework and work I have little to no free time.
But it turns out that people were reading it and I have had more than a few people ask what the heck happened! So I will try to be better about updating...but honestly people... I lead a boring life :)
So a quick recap from my last post...
The final month of school was crazy but I pulled out straight A's and was quite happy with myself.
I turned 29 which was nice and depressing. But I did have some fun visitors to ease the pain. My Mom and stepdad came on my bday and then Lauren, Rick and Brianne came that weekend. (see Laurens blog for pictures)
I am in summer school. I have one class... Pre-Calculus. It is pretty horrible. Pre-calc is hard enough but to cram it into 2 months makes it all the more difficult. But I only have a few weeks left and I'll be happy with a B :)
June 28th was my Mom's 60th birthday and my sister and I had been planning a surprise party for her for a few months. So I had a quick trip home in June and it was great to see family and friends.
My Dad is visiting this weekend so now that makes my sister the last one to visit!! I so appreciate everyone making the time to come and see me!
Work is going well, I am just hoping to work a bit less this next year. My school load is about to be very challenging and I want to focus on that as much as possible.
I have been hesitant to put it out there in the universe in case I can't do it but I have chosen Pharmacy as my major. The program is highly competetive so if I can't keep my grades up then I won't be getting in. But that is the plan for now. If all goes according to plan, I will have 2.5 years left at Boise State and then 3 years in the Pharmacy program.
I have also decided that I will NOT be celebrating my 30th birthday overweight so the weight loss plan is back in effect! I am going to really focus on myself in the coming year. That was the plan when I moved here but I haven't really followed through. Now that life has settled in here I think I am ready to commit to ME!
