Fatty McButterpants

I had to take Miss Lucy to the vet today to get updated on her shots. When I first got her at about 4 months she weighed 2.1 lbs. Oh she was so tiny and cute :) Then when I took her in again at around 8 months she was up to 4lbs. I didn't think she had gained much weight since then but today she weighed in a whopping 5.8lbs! What a butterball :)
The last time she got shots they put her under because she was getting spayed as well. So she really wasn't a big fan of the shots today. Especially the bordatella one that goes up her nose. I think she was traumatized because usually in the car she sits on my lap looking around. But today she immediately turned around, layed down and rested her little head on my arm. Ahh, bliss :) It was camera phone worthy...


On anther note they had the Top 50 names for 2008 on the MSN homepage today and I couldn't resist taking a peek. Isabella was the #1 girl name. Where was Rebecca you ask? Number 49!!! I am almost extinct!

Happy Birthday Sissy!!

Happy Birthday sissy! I am so sad I can't be there to celebrate with you :( I love you much. This has been quite the year for us. I am so thankful you're my big sissy and can't thank you enough for being so supportive of me this year. I loved all our dinners and doggie play dates :) You have always been my protector and I hope you know I appreciate that. You have the biggest heart of anyone I know and I love that you wear it on your sleeve proudly. You gave me a big scare last month and thinking that something major could be wrong sent me into tears, I can't imagine my life without you. I thank god that things worked out for the best. I can't wait to see you next week! We have lots of laughing and hugging to catch up on :)

It's Official...

I'm a Bronco! I had my orientation today and got my student ID well as registered for classes! I am so excited for school to start although I am sure that will wear off soon :) My schedule for Spring semester consists of Math, English, Biology and Sociology.
I did get a bit frustrated that I don't know what I want to major in but I figured those classes will work no matter what I choose. I think I have until the end of the semester to actually declare a major so I will have some major research to do :)

Bored at night I found this site that you can make yourself over... and man was it fun!! Mom you will love these :) You upload your picture and then you can put makeup on, whiten your teeth, change your eye color and change your hair.
