Sad News...

Well I knew this day would come but it doesn't make any easier. Lauren told me today that she is moving out :( And I am just not ready to let her go...

I am so blessed to have a friendship like ours, we are going on 20 years. And I am even more blessed to have had the last 2 years together. Living together 'later in life' is unique and it came at a time where I think we both really needed each other. It has been so wonderful having my best friend around so much. We have had countless late night talks and laughs. It's also been so nice having a home cooked meal once in a while :)

But she has found a guy that she is crazy about and I am so happy for her! She deserves all the happiness in the world.

I believe this is happening at the beginning of the year, so I have some time to adjust. Ummm I also some time to round up some furniture! Since everything in the living room is hers, I will be couchless, tableless and TV standless very soon... so I guess my Christmas list now consists of only one thing. MONEY!

And to my 'wife', I LOVE you :) And will miss you dearly

Idaho Road Trip

Here is the beginning of our road trip! We were off to Idaho to spend the weekend with Sean. I really hate being in the car for long periods of time so 7 hours was quite the challenge for me! But we managed with lots of stops and 2 Ipods filled with good music!
First stop - DAIRY QUEEN! This made us pretty happy :)

Then we hit the song jackpot!! A little song called the Cha-Cha slide improved our moods greatly!

Halloween!

My very good friend Jaime and her boyfriend Greg had their annual Halloween Bash and it was a blast! All of our friends did a great job on their costumes but Lauren and I really went all out! We both have Mom's who are great seamstresses so we had homemade costumes!
I was Bjork and Lauren was She-ra!

Whew! Off to a better start

Well sorry to change websites (to the few of you who had the other one)
It was just too hard to post pictures and all the blog entries were too hard to find! So this is much easier and much easier = me more likely to do :)
